The Inspection

For gas furnaces, the inspection covers heat exchanger integrity (the critical safety check for carbon monoxide), gas pressure at the manifold, burner cleaning, ignitor condition, flame sensor cleaning, safety switch testing, flue inspection, and a CO measurement at supply registers.
For heat pumps, we test the reversing valve (switches from cooling to heating mode), check the defrost system, verify refrigerant charge, inspect the outdoor coil, test each auxiliary heat strip, and calibrate thermostat staging.
Every system also gets blower motor evaluation, electrical connection tightening, and filter assessment.
